Can we change clothes and/or shower at your facility?

Yes, there are several heated wooden cabins for changing, as well as the option to store belongings in an unlocked box near your hot tub/sauna. For hygienic reasons, we recommend taking a shower before your visit to Aalborg Heat. However, there is a shower available that must be used if you have not showered beforehand.

Unfortunately, we do not allow outside food and drinks. However, we do offer a selection of beverages, including bubbles, beer, tea, and coffee, which can be purchased from us.

What do you do in case of bad weather?

You have no reason to worry - bad weather rarely poses a problem. The heat from your hot tub or sauna will keep you adequately warm. If for any reason we need to cancel your booking due to the weather, we will refund the full amount.

How are the hot tubs heated?

Our hot tubs are heated using green energy and reach a temperature of approximately 39 degrees Celsius. In the event of a power outage or significant cooling of the tub, we have the option to heat a tub using firewood. The water in the hot tubs is saltwater, which we collect daily directly from the harbor.

Yes, even though we use fresh saltwater, which is replenished before your arrival, we ensure continuous water purification. Each hot tub is equipped with sand filter pumps that filter all the water in the hot tub every 6 minutes. This system is similar to what is used in modern swimming pools and ensures a hygienic experience.
